My Australian colleagues simply cannot understand the ever short holiday trips that we Asian take, as spending 1 or 2 months away from home is typical for them. Well, I would say this is Asian style of travel, apart from having less annual leaves, the speed of draining our pocket dollar is truly a concern for us, having that our currency is always the smallest in the globe. Therefore, the hit and run traveling style becomes a norm in our neighborhood. How I wish I do have more times on Phi-Phi islands, waking up to the sound of sea and getting bed after a bottle of Singha beer, only when I have a choice.
