This is my second Away Day of the year. Rather than chasing after the materialistic dream of being a millionaire (read my previous journey Amazing Race), this time around a group of us typical city dwellers humbly rolled up our sleeves to become one-day farmers.

Under a temperature of 35°Celsius on May 23, a hundred of us embarked on a vital task of saving our planet Earth - a program jointly and proudly organized by my company and PlayVillage. Yes, we went all the way green that day with our minds, will and actions - bringing our own water bottles to minimize the usage and disposal of pet bottles; enduring sunburns we received from the blazing sun without regrets;  disregarding the dirt and mud collected on our expensive shirts and shoes; putting aside whiny complaints about getting our hands dirty in performing a farmer’s tasks; and finally finding a new and safer home for the threatened Rhizophora mangrove trees and migratory birds.
