I FAILED TO UNDERSTAND MYSELF ONCE
AGAIN. Was it my sheer excitement or the thin air phobia? I stayed
awake through the entire 12,000-feet-above-sea-level journey for 22
hours, surviving solely with the thinly supplied dry oxygen. I constantly
requested for bottle of waters (and the result was pretty consistent
of loo visiting), this is my first time experience of a long haul
flight, and also my first experience to the golden land of dream -
the America. No exciting Las Vegas or Honolulu for my first visit,
only a giant Texan land, the Houston (aka the 4th largest city in
US) awaited me. Everything in this Texan city was mammoth, the cars,
the buildings, the trees, the dogs, the humans, the hamburgers, and
the chairs (except my computer screen in my office), too big too huge
until nothing could escape my eyes, and nothing could fit entirely
in my tiny camera lens. Me the small city boy was amazed and overwhelmed
by these super big elements that exist in this world, couldn't believe
what I had seen and shot
puzzle puzzle and puzzle...
Houston, I have a problem! |
