{ India }
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page", St Augustine. There are only so many things we remember from one year. So why don't we make those lasting memories and moments. I know I have when embark on a new adventure to visit the historical land of Rajasthan, India. Displays of majestic forts and palaces that is flourished with distinct qualities of sculptural art, throughout different times by the great rulers. Despite staying in a South East Asia country for ages, nothing can prepare you for the experience in India. The hordes of people, the pollution and the show of poverty are simply just alarming. As days passed by you will soon realise this seductive country's beauty lies in its unpredictability. I must say this experience truly enhanced and enriched my travel diary.
{ Bus }
Being a novice local bus traveller, the idea of riding one in India do seem tempting. As soon as we step foot on to the inter city bus, you will realize that personal space doesn’t exist in India. On any Indian city bus people sit three to a seat, and there are usually three orderly rows of people standing in the aisle. With this many people in one bus, you’re bound to get pushed around, which, although unintentional, is disconcerting for people who aren’t used to so much body contact. Then you will notice that you are surrounded by baffling mix of smells, from the richly pungent and unpleasant to the delicately subtle. Nevertheless, a city bus ride is definitely an experience worth having at least once - just so you know what I’m talking about. Now I can say... been there done that!
{ Train }
One must never miss the opportunity to see India by train. Many train travellers often find themselves at the mercy of the mighty India railways and we are no exception. Alas once the hurricane is over, you will have the moment to sit back and take in your surroundings, soak it all in.

Truly a remarkable city rises out of the barren desert like an approaching ship. Jaisalmer was built as a major staging post on the trade route across the forbidding Thar desert from India to the west. View from this indisputable architectural prowess is simply stunning. Surrounded by beautifully constructed merchant's havelis scattered through the town. One must not leave this ancient city without living in it, to experience the medieval feeling and atmosphere. With the massive crowd of tourist visiting, this also means more and more hotel development is taking place and eventually affecting the fort infrastructure. Crossing the yellow sand dunes on a camel back, an adventurous feeling that some say they can't share, better you try it on your own. Experience the night huddling around a camp fire when stars sparkles like diamond - perforate the ink black sky.
