Letterpress: An Enduring Craft by KS Yuen. Although letterpress printing with movable type is considered obsolete as a traditional craft of printing and rarely practised, it has the potential to be rediscovered as an artform. It can contribute to education in learning old but forgotten crafts and trades. Nevertheless letterpress printing still thrives in the 21 century with what is referred to as digital letterpress printing with photo-polymer plates but still utilising the vintage old Heidelberg printing machines.
