泰和堂？中药味莫名扑鼻而来的感觉，不，这里不卖凉茶，只分享浓浓人情味。《泰和堂》芙蓉民俗文化馆创办人黄永康，把老芙蓉都收进了一栋老房里，让房里每个转角都是故事。黄永康以一己之力，搭建和和经营文化馆，因为他的信念，让原本毫无生命力的“旧”物，再次重生，活灵活现，栩栩如生的展现在我们现代人的眼前。也许你会说，又是一间看懂非懂没三两下就看完走人的文化历史博物馆，那你就错了。这里有馆长的细心和激情的讲解，有趣与灵活的展示，文物活灵活现的重现在你面前，逛多久也会嫌不够。听黄永康的解说，只会感受到他对文物的疼惜如宝。很喜欢他的一句话，“以前的人都能做到，为什么身为现代人的我们不能呢？”，他把破坏不堪的老文物一一修复好，原汁原味把文物的主人和故事一一跟我们细说。每件文物都有其背后的故事与智慧，只要我们肯停下脚步，用心聆听，用心感受，往往会有新的启发。对了，馆里还有眼镜店、鸦片馆、摄影棚、打金店、周润发、印刷厂、跑马场、裁缝店、林青霞、甜蜜蜜、杂货店、古惑仔、眼镜店、卡拉OK和许多的惊喜。今天就和黄永康约上吧！
It is not just a museum, it is a living museum. Unlike others, besides transporting you back in time to see "static" cultural artifacts, you also get to see how each of them works and operates live here at Citizen Heritage Seremban, Tai He Tang. The decrepit retro collections contributed by Seremban folks were restored and revivified by Curator Wong Yeong Kang diligently, and demonstrated right in front of your eyes with captivating stories. Each artifact has an owner and a tale, and they are being respected and appreciated here. Wong's relentless passion and effort on perserving the stories and memories will take you down a good old memory lane.
