Just in case you wonder what I was doing in this media trip, I actually “pretended” to be a photographer representing Traveller's Digest of Malaysia 《旅行家》. My travel companion Dino Goh is a freelance writer representing the above magazine too. Being nature lovers, we both enjoyed the trip very much, albeit the never ending rain. Folks, Kenyir is the largest man-made lake in South East Asia. In fact it is larger than the Penang island, and half the size of our neighbour Singapore. 340 islands, 14 waterfalls, countless caves and 10 species of hornbill (more than Sarawak!) - these are compelling reasons for us to pay a visit to this lovely lake. So wait no longer, start your planning today!

Last but not least, a big thank you to the staff of Lake Kenyir Resort and Spa for their warm hospitality. Being vegetarian we both must have given the resort enough of headache I reckon. Very special attention was given to us by Mr. Eric Ng (Assistant Director of Sales) too. Knowing well we both are straight men, he specifically arranged a room with twin beds for us during our 3-day stay in his resort ;)
